During our open submission period, you must be able to commit to 5-10 hours of work a week. Previous editing experience in areas of poetry, prose, creative nonfiction, book and event reviews, social media promos, and/or opinion pieces are an asset.

Collaboration with the co-editors-in-chief, managing editor, and web content creators will be necessary. An ability to work quickly and meet deadlines is a must, and a commitment to around 5 hours of work a week will be required. Previous experience managing social media accounts is an asset.

An ability to work quickly and meet deadlines is a must, and a commitment to around 5-10 hours of work a week will be required.

Responsibilities for all positions will begin the second week of September. The deadline to apply for all positions is September 7th, 2020 at 11:59pm EST. Please forward a CV, cover letter, and any further questions about the position to soliloquies.concordia@gmail.com. Please note that this is a volunteer position.

All meetings and operations, as well as interviews, will be held completely online until further notice.

Canlit has historically upheld systems of white supremacy, sexism, homophobia and bigotry, and Soliloquies as an extension of that community has a duty to dismantle and challenge those systems. We at Soliloquies are committed to uplifting the voices of those who have been, and continue to be, marginalized. That commitment must begin with our own staff.

All are encouraged to apply!
